Baptisms: New River, New Life

In response to identifying with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus, 16 people publicly demonstrated their new life in Christ by getting baptized.

Homer was one of the 16 people baptized in the New River on Sunday, May 6.

Baptism is a holy and public display of our obedience and love for Jesus. Jesus instructed others to, “believe and be baptized,” (Mark 16:16). Those who chose to follow Him got in the water. It was that simple.

And it was again on Sunday, May 6, when theHeart baptized people in the New River. In front of family and friends,16 people began a new life in Christ. They identified with Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection in community. It was awesome.
